    Personally I really like the idea of the borderless badge, like your one on the right. I understand the clamour for the round badge, but I want something that looks forward not the club looking backwards

    Traore is a pure entertainer. I always thought he was as equally likely to do something genuinely world class as he was to do something Sunday league. That West Brom goal is strangely one of my favourite ever Villa goals. To pass it into the net at that pace was audacious.

    That may well be the Birmingham Mail's first scoop in 6 years. Beale is very likely paid very handsomely as a number two, probably more handsomely that Blackburn or QPR would be able to pay their manager positions. I guess it is whether Beale fancies himself as a manager or not. And those two clubs aren't exactly going to be pulling up trees next season.

    I think this will be the signing that we are perhaps least excited by, because he’s a known quantity, but on reflection will see as the most important come end of next season.
