  1. Completely unacceptable the way Gerrard spoke about Mings in the media. Even if that is true, which I doubt, to tell the national press in such manner as to deflect from on field performances is awful management.
  2. Where are the ideas? What is the system? We are a disorganised mess.
  3. Nobody been given the 26 shirt. #HowManyChairs
  4. Express reporting the fee could rise to £20mil. Good deal in the circumstances - that said I hope he fails.
  5. Adios. Enjoy the bench, or more likely a loan out to Crystal Palace.
  6. I genuinely don’t think Ollie did much Different last season in terms of effort. I think he really was impacted by the loss of Grealish more than any other player. No one can say Ollie doesn’t run hard and try because he closes down defences more than any other top flight centre forward I would suggest.
  7. Good luck to the man. Hope he scores goals there.
  8. Mings captain tonight in what is a very strong XI indicates he probably keeps it.
  9. Not sure there’s a great reason for taking it off Mings. He’s a good communicator and well respected in the changing room.
  10. Not a fan of the away kit, but equally not disgusted by it. Home is a good kit. Castore have done ok.
  11. No malice there, but it’s a red card offence every day of the week.
  12. Anyone know why he missed the game today?
  13. It was a pretty good start actually. Some of the passing was great, albeit rusty in parts. Final ball wasn’t too hot, but I think that comes with competitiveness and more games. I think our strongest 11 may actually cause a lot of the ‘top 6’ a few issues this year. We were very comfortable against an okay Leeds team. Leeds will struggle with that blunt forward line this year, but what was noticeable was our strength in depth relative to theirs
  14. Would easily make him one of our top 5 earners.
  15. Harsh. Although a bit lacklustre his end of season form in project lockdown kept us up.
  16. Yep. I think people just need to adjust to the fact we are one of the most professional clubs when it comes to negotiating transfers.
  17. Absolutely this. And to think we were going bust for much less than the cost of Coutinho’s annual wages.
