Also, if the ffp limits that are so high for them this year get used to their fullest, they'll be hamstrung for the next 2 seasons. That profit from 2 years ago will be replaced in next years calculations by a huge loss this year. This is not the end of the world for us, or any other club trying to break the top 6/4. Don't think it'll affect us in the short term, but we absolutely need to make our progress count now while we still can. Especially if they get relegated, that's another year off schedule. It's going to take a while for their sponsorships or whatever clever way they're going to get around FFP to kick in, but not only that, they have to absolute nail their football appointments to hit the ground running. Even if they poach our entire setup and appoint Antonio Conte, even breaking the top 4 is still a couple of years out. I see them becoming more of a QPR at first. Eventually the money will shine through though. You can only mess up with this amount of money and clout for so long before you eventually land on your feet.
