drat01
... he's been built up and publicised by the Mail and the Murdoch group... The BBC too, more's the pity. Murdoch supports Salmond as well. Divide and conquer. The typical UKIP "supporter" is basically a bigot, with racist at worst, xenophobic at best views on most of the core issues that actually make a difference to society (the word that most right wingers despise). Those mentioned in this thread (eg Mail etc) who are supporting the publicity behind that piece of right wing bottom droppings, Farage, really are as much to blame because of their lack of accountability . You see AWOL claiming again that UKIP "won" the European elections, why? Farage is not now leader of Europe is he? so how exactly did they win, but that is old ground but it does show that the right wing are desperate to try and claim some sort of credibility to hide behind while the real damage can be inflicted with most people distracted about how 4545400000 Romanians are now living in London mansions, easting their tea at the Ritz paid for by the wages and taxes of war veterans. The real UKIP does ooze out occasionally as we saw earlier about the denial of climate change etc, which I suppose is why they are now hiring legal teams to try and keep anything that will give away the real policy set out of the public domain. Oh Drat, my dear boy. UKIP won the European elections in the UK, something they achieved by getting the most votes and the most MEPs. It seems utterly bizarre that you are trying to dispute this. The rest of your rant is just funny.

coda
Ukip Councillor Rozanne Duncan 'Has A Problem With Negroes' Faces' It's been one of the most intriguing political mysteries of recent weeks - what did a Ukip councillor say that was a so out of order that she was fired by her party. It transpires Rozanne Duncan, 68, has a problem with "negroes" because there's "something about their faces", reports The Times. The Thanet councillor was sacked last month for the "jaw-dropping" comments made in a recorded TV interview but Ukip failed to disclose their true nature at the time. Duncan digs herself further into bigoted terra-firma by arguing she is "not racist" because she has "many Asian shopkeeper and local business friends". At the time of her sacking a party spokesman said: "Ukip is expelling Cllr Rozanne Duncan under rule 15 of its constitution for bringing the party into disrepute. She has 28 days to appeal." chrisp65
This man has reached a new low and is starting to show his true colours. Pure opportunistic bigoted filth He was already being quoted and drawing comparisons with the UK and that there were fifth column terrorists and paedo gangs in the Uk due to 'gross mulriculturalism' whilst the the French attack was still an ongoing event. The man is not very nice. It's one thing that he has these views. It's so much more depressing that so many people can fall in behind him.

Dale
What an utter cretin. Genuinely a terrible human being looking to paint people as the alien... Does he realise that traditional christianity was responsible for the murder of heretics and non-believers and that the heritage of Christianity is hardly one of a liberal accepting state. In fact, the traditional Islamic countries under the Ottoman Empire were accepting of any monolithic religion, far more liberal than Christianity in nature. Individuals can find hate anywhere, no one has claimed that Christianity has caused division in society, which is odd given that we live in a nation where Cities still have walls going across them largely in the name of Christianity. He won't get in, but it he costs UKIP a few votes it gives the sitting Tory the best chance of staying in power. UKIP will take 5-10 MPs at the next GE. It would be deliciously humiliating for Farage if he wasn't one of them.
Xann
Green Party membership to outstrip UKIP, perhaps this week. Green Party membership on course to overtake Ukip's. The party's membership has doubled since September to 40,879, just 635 behind Farage's party. Clicky

All he'll do is get votes from UKIP haters, thus taking their votes away from the mainstream parties. It's a win-win for Farage.

tonyh29
Hang on a minute. Murray is clearly taking the piss out of UKIP. No potential kippers will vote for him. All he'll do is get votes from UKIP haters, thus taking their votes away from the mainstream parties. It's a win-win for Farage. In 2010 Tories won it as follows :Tory - 22,043Labour - 14,426Libs 6,935UKIP 2529 guess it depends where Nigel plans on getting his votes from but if he takes8,000 from the Tories3 ,000 from Labour3 ,000 from Libs which is quite a big ask (?) then Tory - 14,043Labour - 12,426Libs 3,935UKIP 16,529 then Nigel wins ..... So I guess the question is where (if anywhere) will Murray steal votes away from ? and IF Murray can steal around 3,000 of those defector votes then he could actually put the Tory or Labour candidate in all a big IF of course , Nigel may romp it , I'm sure he would have picked the seat he was most confident of taking Edited January 15, 2015 by blandy
