They just don't have a striker to match their position. Defoe is decent but he's only one guy. Adebayor is pretty shit unless his contract is running out, and they've got no-one else. Bale is their main goalscorer these days. As someone on here a few weeks ago said, if Spurs could get themselves a Suarez or a RVP or someone like that then they'd probably be title contenders. obviously that's much easier said than done.
