They would still only be on 29 points with 4 tougher games left. That would still be at most 4 behind us and hopefully even 10 points by then and it would probably mean Wigan and Stoke are below us. QPR beating Wigan and Stoke is certainly in our interest.

Adebayor's just scored for Spurs after 34 seconds too.

That's the first time a Spurs striker has scored in the league since Jermaine Defoe's goal against us on Boxing Day.

He is player manager at Barnet.  It caused a bit of a stir when he went there, but his explanation was pretty understandable:

1] He settled in London after he signed for Spurs.

2] Barnet is quite near his house.

3] He still likes playing football.

That's all there is to it really.

what an excellent criteria for choosing a club

the guy has all the money he needs and nothing to prove, but he likes playing football and Barnet was close to where he wanted to be

I quite like that

Chelsea full strength expect for Lampard on the bench and Cole out injured. QPR vs. Wigan draw would do today or even Wigan winning, the secondary option. Confirm QPR are going down with Reading, then its between us, Wigan, Stoke and Sunderland for that last relegation spot.

Story was he was playing Sunday League before he went to Barnet as well.

Think it was someone on the Football Ramble said they knew someone who played on the team he was turning out for.

He turned up as normal on a Sunday and Edgar Davids was sat in the changing room with the rest of the lads. Pretty random.
