Posted July 24, 2018 Moderator Share Posted July 24, 2018 The thing with Trump is that his job isn't to be consistent, or to be right, or to make any sense, or to offer answers to any sort of questions, his job is to make lots and lots of noise and have you talking about whatever crap he's talking about today rather than talking about the systematic destruction of public services in the US; the process of removing healthcare, education, maintenance of infrastructure and budgetary control out of government and into the hands of the private interests that fund the Republican party. Ah, that's the job in principle. I suspect his sponsors have a different agenda. You're right in everything you say, a President should be exactly what you've said, but Trump isn't just wrong and bad, he's wrong and bad consistently over a long period of time on a whole host of issues and with the same beneficiaries - I don't think it's an accident.
