anyone catch talksports rant last night?

to paraphrase there arent enough black managers in football so success is judged differently and they've sacked him for racist reasons...

They just ran it on sky news too. But called it racist more or less outright

Worth a quid on Karanka or Wagner. Remember when we were perennially linked with Curbishley for about 15years?

Don't think Karanka would be that good a fit for this squad.

Seems Wagner can't take another job until the summer so guess that rules him out unless they keep the caretaker guy in charge for rest of the season given he's won his first two.

I hope that is the case as he won't win the play offs. I hope they don't get jokanovic

Why not? Above the championship I don't really rate him. He blew £100m on a Fulham squad that look set to be relegated.

I really do not understand all the hype that surrounds him.

To be fair though he wasnt given enough time in my opinion. Then they made a absolutely stupid decision to hire raneri who doesn't do well at struggling sides.

A lot of average managers have been hyped up around in recent seasons. Jokanovic, Monk, Rowett, I am sure is a couple more

Tbf I think monks doing a great job considering with all the crap going on at the sty.

Rowett done OK at all his jobs barring the Stoke one. The new guy hasn't done any better ethab Rowett

no defeats in 7 Jones has at the moment just cant score, as for Monk he has done well but then again he has cheated by signing Pedersen so you know it does take away from the job

both Monk and Rowett play atrocious football and doubt be near a Premier League club anytime soon

I agree the football is garbage but so is a lot of the premier league. The games are much more entertaining in championship as a neutral fan.

Jokanovic didn't ever control transfers at Fulham, which he why he almost quit several times. They have a bunch of 'moneyball' experts who sign players based on stats. I don't think Jokanovic was even that keen on signing Mitrovic.

Gets promoted out of this league though, Watford and Fulham. For next two months that's all WBA care about otherwise they'd have given Darren Moore the season.

With all the money at stake now for glory, we need to remember how much short term Football really is now.

they could bring in pep as manager, klopp as his assistant and then steve bruce and jokanovic as promotion specialist consultants, win all of their remaining fixtures 10-0 but unless sheffield utd dropped 7 points they wouldnt get promoted, and even then they would still need leeds to drop 6, there is not a manager alive who could guarantee a better league position than moore, its out of their control

they are hedging their bets on someone being better in 3 playoff games that moore, which is bad enough but now it seems like there is uncertainty as to who that person is and whether they can get them

as for jokanovic and his promotion record, him beating us in the playoff final sweeps under the carpet fulham **** 2nd place up, cardiff gave them a couple of sniffs at it, win their last game of the season and they were 2nd, the lost to blues

If Fulham got s cond I think we would have beaten Cardiff in the final. I think Fulham were better th@n Cardiff last year, just had a terrible start to the season

That run was f'ing ridiculous. Went about 20 games unbeaten and about 17of those were wins. Or so it seemed.

And now they're doing the same run, in reverse.

I think they are going tij be in huge trouble financially. They wasted double what we did the year sherwood signed all those players from French league

Didn't spend much in the summer though after relegation, whereas we spent big on players like mcormack, Chester and tsihbola

They didnt need a big rebuild like we did though, I also imagine some of older players will be out of contract soon like Barry, Brunt

This is quite funny.

A case of careful what you wish for.

Sam Allardyce’s odds to become the next West Bromwich Albion have been slashed.

Paddy Power say several ‘chunky wagers’ have been placed on the Dudley-born former England boss to take over following Darren Moore’s sacking last month.

At the start of Monday Allardyce, 64, was 50/1 to be named Albion boss but Paddy Power have now made him 8/15 favourite
