KHV Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 Don't think he is a massive miss to be honest. We still needed to by 2/3 midfielders anyway before he was injured. He is the best of incredibly talentless bunch of midfielders at villa park. Useful squad player but never going to be a top quality midfielder. Westwood will get checked out by the medical team at Bodymoor Heath later. Asked whether it was serious, he added: "It looks it at the minute. It's his ankle. He's hobbling about. "It will be a blow if he's out because we have too many at the moment. "We have some lads at the training ground too. With Westwood out, KEA away at the ACON and Gardner still injured that leaves us with only Bannan and Delph available as CMs.... not a massive miss at all then....
