Popular Post villan_007
Lack of consistency gets me. i like him but I thought he had another dissapointing performance game yesterday and I cant get away from the fact he has only scored 1 goal this season. If he wasn't a local lad and gives us a laugh now and again would he be given as much chances? If he was covered in hair, had four legs and a tail he'd be a dog.

Rovers13
He's a poor mans theo walcott. Like Walcott, he does better against big teams cause there's more space.

And we are much poorer than Arsenal so you do the math. Anyway he is our Walcott so leave it! lol
VillaChris
Just does not do it at Villa Park. Very disappointed in his performance as he was playing most of the second half centrally.
Morley_crosses_to_Withe
Needs a new club. Just being a Villa fan with pace doesn't cut it anymore.

ROTTERDAM1982
Never looks like scoring though Harry, that's his job.
OutByEaster? Posted December 26, 2013 Moderator Share Posted December 26, 2013 Our only bright spot - the only player who looks like he's trying to actually do something. He's the one player we've got to hold onto. I'd drop Kozak and play him up top on Saturday to see if it discourages the long ball.

VillaChris
Away from home he's a good player and fits our counter attacking tactics well, one of the first names on the teamsheet AWAY from home. But at Villa Park against deep defences it's all huff and puff with little end product. Infairness it's the same for a lot of our players. It's always a negative tone for me when I see KEA's name on the teamsheet at VP but he has done well in a few away games this year. Just with Gabby a senior player now and having played well for us in previous seasons I expect a bit better from him against opposition like Crystal fecking Palace. VillaChris
I'd keep Gabby but just start him away from home, for home games he should be on the bench more often than he is (hardly ever) and would be if we were a top 6 standard team. In fairness that shows how easy it is to be an armchair manager just typing that rather than telling him that to his face as the actual manager! AndyM3000
Gabby isn't the problem.
Con
Sell Gabby for £10 million. Wage bill reduced, cash can be invested in a creative player. Gabby is a specialist squad player. He is not doing well in a squad like Villa's where he has to be our play-maker and top scorer. He would be better in a side with a deep bench coming on as sub or played away from home in a defensive counter-attack unit.
AndyM3000
Who is going to pay £10m for him? Let alone £10m for a bench/away player! Madness.
Con
Any team in the top four. £10m is peanuts. Huge value. We would be desperate to sell.
