Maybe Boehly can make some calls and get Chelsea one of those legacy spots in the CL one season early.

The way its going he might be better suggesting to the Premier League for a US style no relegation system

I foresee a disastrous Simeone appointment in the summer, as good a manager he is the Chelsea squad is unsuited to his style .

He would also want a monster salary. He is on 30 million a year at Atletico

His style fits the classic Chelsea DNA but dont have many of them style of players left

Yes but he’s set to leave in the summer so he’s available. He wouldn’t be a good fit there from a financial and playing perspective. Hopefully it happens 😂

I read that Potter has a 28.3% Premier League win record

Correct. And PPG of 1.21. And both these stats have marginally dropped since joining Chelsea. He was at 1.22 PPG and 28.3% wins (though rounded from a marginally higher value) on leaving Brighton.

His seasons at Brighton look like this:

19/20 - 38 games, 41 points, 1.08 PPG, 23.7% wins

20/21 - 38 games, 41 points, 1.08 PPG, 23.7% wins (identical record to previous season)

21/22 - 38 games, 51 points, 1.34 PPG, 31.6% wins

22/23 - 6 games, 13 points, 2.17 PPG, 66.7% wins

Chelsea record is 18 games, 21 points, 1.17 PPG, 27.8% wins

6 league goals since the 6th of November. That's an obscene statistic when you consider the talent they have in that squad.

Apparently their xG is pretty good in that time. Maybe it’ll click one day. I hear they might be playing a certain Aston Villa soon… we can call it click day.

Potter the xG world champion!

Seriously though not sure what it is with him, his xG at Brighton was always high but he had the excuse that he had maupay and welbeck up front, at this stage its almost like he's got a brand of football that generates an anomaly in the stat

Players will be impressed by Poch infamous trophy cabinet. Won one more domestic trophy than Potter while managing PSG

Poch is a bigger name than potter. He won them over at spurs very quickly he will do the same at chelsea

Spurs were a mid table team when he took over. Is a reason he is often overlooked for big jobs

His stats at Brighton were also virtually identical to the man he replaced, Chris Hughton, until they went on a great run to finish the 21/22 season (18 points from their last 9 games).

Poch is loyal to his teams (see Espanyol and Barca) there is no way he's going to Chelsea. He'll end up back at Spurs.

Why should he have loyalty to spurs though? They treated him like garbage
