Zatman
Tbf would anyone want to play for villa right now ? think not I know that this assertion isn't necessarily incorrect, but are you even a Villa fan? You come across as a Barca fan who just 'kinda likes' Villa. or a fan of another club on a windup
dudevillaisnice
I have my doubt's that he is injured to be honest.. wouldn't be shocked if he left in the summer imo.

Mantis
So does this mean we're going to have to put up with Heskey for the next month?
GeauxVilla
We can’t afford to be without any more experienced players because that was down to the last 11 on Saturday. “The rest of them were injured and we had six young players on the bench.” Well, I guess that´ll mean Heskey will keep his place. totally - can't see us scoring a goal now. Think we'll finish on 33 points. I imagine we'll manage a 0-0 tie or two
Cule4life
Well, I guess that´ll mean Heskey will keep his place. Honestly how is that over grown oaf still on the payroll ? I bet he laughs every week as he has never earned a single penny of what he gets. The worst footballer I have ever seen in the Prem and is League 2 quality at best. Francis Jeffers is better... I bet he doesn't, I'm almost certain that Emile (like Dion Dublin in the past) goes out and gives his best but just isn't up to the job. That is not his fault, neither is the huge wage packet that he is on. I guess you've not seen much Premier League football then or much of Francis Jeffers recently. Dion ? Is a billion times that useless prick heskey will ever be
pacbuddies
If I was mildly injured I might be tempted to exaggerate it somewhat so that I didn't have to play the same boring negative shit week in week out.
Daweii
So does this mean we're going to have to put up with Heskey for the next month? After the Arsenal game and seeing Heskey do nothing which I think McLeish noticed himself, given in the post match he only mentioned how lively Weimann was.. I think Weimann may finally get his start against Chelsea.

We are just too weak through the middle and nerves will also play their part.

Daweii
Times: Charles N'Zogbia, the Aston Villa winger, could miss the next month of the season after being injured during training yesterday. Posted on the Official Site earlier.. I thought he was already injured? I thought he was in Paris? He's apparently back from Paris and was healed enough to get injured again... Yeah he's going in the Summer, we won't see him play in a Villa shirt again Mcleish clearly didn't like him going to the press.
dudevillaisnice
Maybe "The Times" (?) have got it wrong.. but I agree anyway I doubt we'll see him next season in a Villa shirt.

VillaRoy
N'Zogbia is in contention to play in the easter fixtures this weekend according to McLeish, also Jermaine Jenas could still make his return to the first team this season.

deeps
Agreed. Don't think he was injured at all. Now it's nervous times Alex recalls him. Either way good news if he plays over Easter. We need him. And we need him to find that end of season form he had at Wigan last season. Jenas would be a boost too because he is a handy player just a injury prone one. Houlston
He just wasnt injured. :!: Well you obviously know something. I can also say that last Tuesday I was at Bodymoor and he was hammering (no sexual puns) an exercise bike. I'm no physio but I wouldnt have thought that was the best treatment for a knee injury that required seeing a specialist.

For years sitting on a bike was all Paul McGrath ever did except for the games. I don't know about Zog now, but exercise bikes are rather often used when someone's got a bad knee.
