We should bust the bank for this guy. Just because he is not a marquee player doesn't mean he is crap. He was labelled the new Zidane just three years ago but took the brunt of the blame for the doomed Moyes era. I think he'd be a revelation and a vast improvement on what we have now.

One more point - SURELY there are better options even for a loan?? Guidetti smacked 20-odd goals for feyenoord and stoke have just taken him on loan. That's a gamble worth taking - Young, fit again and looking to prove something. That is the sort of loan we should be looking for

Didn't Lerner vote for FFP?? What a tool (as the other chairman were too). He now has a declining asset that nobody in their right mind would want to buy as you cannot invest to get back up to the top. I would say it serves him right but some day he'll be gone whilst we are all left to pick up the pieces
