Whoda thunk it? Lampard being shite? Surely not!

Unfortunately Everton's problems extend beyond the dugout. Their squad is shite, and the bits that aren't shite aren't performing. Might be their time. They're relying on either getting an upturn in form at the right moment or 3 teams managing to be worse than them.

Did we get a reset? No, we almost went out of business and got taken over by multi billionaires. No club ever needs relegation, what they need is boring stability.

Yes agreed, we all foolishly thought we would bounce back like we did under GT Mk1. The Championship is a tough competitive league and being a big name means nothing if you are not up for the fight, in fact being a big name makes it all the tougher as you are the prized scalp in the division. Getting stuck down there for a few years has cost us big time, and without NSWE saving us who knows where we would be now. We were fortunate, many other big clubs have not returned as quickly.

They aren’t relegated yet.

it’s not looking good…..but I can only think of two Premier teams that have been pretty much already gone at Christmas.Feel free to add others….

Derby 06/07? (Not sure)

Aston Villa 15/16

They still have a good chance of staying up imo.

So Dyche by all accounts isn't being considered and that's possibly because he turned it down weeks ago?

They're absolutely screwed.

These are the things Remi Garde is made of

I can't see any manager with a half decent reputation wanting to go anywhere near this job.

Which is why they should have done it in the summer at best and weeks ago at worst.

What they need is someone that has experience of a relegation battle, but who also has a couple of promotions on his CV if the worst should happen.

If only there was someone like that out there that was currently out of work.
