There has been no precicident for this league, its one of the possible punishments however.

well, if they dont, it will kinda set a precedent for other teams to break FFP and put all their chips in trying to get europe, cus no real consequences (at least until you go over FFP by 300m and get "working in conjunction with the FA to manage your finances".

Also, how can you explain to the teams in lower leagues that they get points deductions and some were relegated from this punishment, but PL teams are "special" so dont?

I think the biggest issue is the fairness of it, try explaining no points deduction for Everton, to Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and the others.....

Gonna be interesting to see what happens.

Why would they be deducted points?  They’ve scraped within FFP with some clever accounting (posted by OBE on previous page).

They also agreed not to spend any more on transfers during January and by the summer a new accounting period opens so they get another years of acceptable losses to add on.

They are within FFP after taking away expenditure outside of FFP calculations. Similar to Villa whose losses are way over, but are allowed to discount a lot of losses for FFP purposes.

As for lower leagues and Derby, Sheffield, etc… they have different agreed rules that they all agreed between themselves.

The Premier League agreed their own rules between the 20 Premier League clubs at the time.

There is no connection between the two different sets of rules.

Derby scraped through initial stages of ffp due to clever accounting. Covid is clouding things atm but they are way over the limits of ffp.

This may not be the last we here on this

Richarlison in the #6 role? That'll please the masses.

Richarlison - 184 cm

Bissouma - 182 cm

Seems to meet the minimum requirements for the job.

Another loss for lame lamps.

They are in massive trouble

Would be hilarious if they sacked him before the end of the season.

Lost 4 on the bounce. Next game is absolutely massive, titanic. It's Burnley and after that they've got Man Ure, Leicester and Liverpool.

If they don't beat Burnley that could well be 8 defeats in a row.

They beat Leeds the game before this.

Although agree if they lose to Burnley they’re in trouble

I think most people are rooting for Burnley mid week. Will make the relegation race interesting if they win.

Would like to see Watford win a couple too. Would be fun to see Newcastle and Leeds dragged back into it, albeit I can’t see it.
