I'm glad I'm generally a happy person.

Some of the people I work with just never seem that happy.  It must be quite difficult for them.  They get incredibly annoyed at people who don't understand what they mean/need and I can't help but think that it's partially that persons fault for not explaining themselves well enough to be understood.

I had a call last week with a colleague.  She was asking me a strange question about being potentially audited on work we're currently doing.  She'd ask the question and I would give as straight an answer as I could to it.  But she kept saying "That's not what I mean".  She would rephrase slightly and I would give her another answer to the question she just asked.

This must have happened about 6 times before she got what she wanted out of me, but she sounded annoyed at me.  But if she'd have asked me that question initially, I'd have told her the answer to it.  Seemed like she was asking about things she didn't quite understand.

Anyway, **** being mad and angry all the time, seems like too much hard work.

I saw a think about the latest thing in America is to go to an anger room, and smash shit up for 15 mins. Basically they go into a room with a bat or a sledge hammer and smash up old TVs and stuff, to get rid of all their pent up rage.

I was wondering if it might be viable setting something similar up in the UK. Can't imagine it would cost much to get off the ground.

When BP Chemicals were taken over by Nippon Zeon the local workforce here in town were worried about the new Japanese regime.

The first three things the new overlords did, were:

Give a monthly cash budget to each shift work team to go out and socialise together as that work team saw fit, without managers present.

Set up a de-stress room with punchbags with generic japanese faces on.

Send a manager on a courtesy visit to any and all members of staff phoning in sick, to deliver complimentary fruit and see if there was anything else they needed. Time of visit 'random'.

Did you get in trouble for pointing it out i.e. making her feel stupid?

No, to be fair she's really good at stuff like that. We're constantly looking to score juvenile points off each other and over 32 years I'd guess we're still about even.

I smashed up an abandoned caravan with a cricket bat once, it was brilliant.

Having a 1 yr old springer spaniel gallop up to me as I strolled in  Sutton park today. He was batshit bonkers, full of energy and loved the fuss i gave him ! He only ran off to chase a low flying crow and must've covered 200 yards in about 15 seconds before giving up. He then ran back to me for a final tummy tickle and then he was gone.

Such wonderful therapy on such a grey day and I was grinning all the way back to my car :D

Strolling around Sutton Park on your own?

Dogging?

One of my all time favourites

She has a mouth like a torn pocket but I'd still let her (I'm sure she'd be delighted to hear that !)

An "arse like a broken cat flap" makes me laugh as does "a word removed like a wizards sleeve."

A fanny like a clowns pocket. Or a fanny like a hippos yawn. Or a fanny like a horses collar.

All acceptable
