dAVe80
total films best 50 HBO characters - http://www.totalfilm.com/features/50-greatest-hbo-characters dont totally agree with it, number 4 in particular seems a really strange one, and i might be biased because its my favourite tv programme but i think paulie, tonys mom and possibly even ralph from the sopranos should be on there That list is missing Gyp Rosetti.... Great shout.
PieFacE Posted April 24, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) I'd also say Adebisi (sp?) deserves to be in there too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFm6oakSPf4 Edited April 24, 2014 by PieFacE
packoman
Yep, agree with both of those. I'd have them both near the top too. I can't stand McNulty though, find him very annoying.

Oaks
My favourite TV. 1. The Wire 2. Breaking Bad 3. Game of Thrones 4. Sherlock 5. The Sopranos I've re watched The Wire series 1, 3 and 4 many times. I'm yet to re watch Breaking Bad which stops it hitting the top spot. Sherlock is the best thing produced over here in my opinion. Wainy316
McNulty is one of my faves, people always seem to gravitate their love towards the 'gangsters' but some of the cops are fantastic. One of the best things about the wire is that the cops are as bad, if not worse than most of the criminals. Ponky
I really enjoy it but Arrow is firmly in the "so bad it's good" category. The acting and the script are hilariously bad but the action is fantastic and it looks brilliant.

Ponky
They could do a top 150 HBO characters and still not have scratched the surface really. Calamity Jane from Deadwood, Bunk, Lloyd from Entourage; Treme doesn't even get a mention.

We really do struggle to have quality British drama, which is a shme we have the talent, just not the money.

Dodgyknees
Once again Villa leave me feeling miserable. I've a pile of work to do, but can't face it! So... I've lined up a few from Homeland (season 3), the first series of Arrow, and maybe a Bond film.
