TrentVilla Posted July 21, 2010 Moderator Share Posted July 21, 2010 Also this must now be the lastest point we've had in a MON summer window without a purchase? I think we've bought atleast one player in previous summer windows before the 21st July, correct me if I'm wrong? Well the summer he arrived I don't think we signed anyone until August. Last summer we had people in by now I think but not sure about in 2008. I do think its a little different in years with World Cups or European Champs. Kiwivillan
MON has progressively made me not give a shit about the transfer window and that makes me more productive at work so I thank him for that.

JAMAICAN-VILLAN
We're linked with Flamini today, that's a bit more like it!
Davies4England
Why the Alexis Sanchez shouts? The only teams who would be able to sign him in the Prem are Chelsea, Man U and City with the big wages. He's one of the most sought after talents in the world. Liked the link to Flamini, was excellent for Arsenal and they missed him till Song appeared, however the story is probably bull as usual. Wainy316
Would be an excellent signing, but I'm not even going to entertain the idea. Surely he'd be more than £5m?
Shillzz
Flamini would seem like a rediculously ideal signing. 1. Foreign to placate the fans. 2. Premier league experience to keep Oneill happy. 3. Was exceptional for Arsenal in his last season there. 4. Young and cheap.

DANVANDAL
There must be tumble weeds at Villa Park....@...@..@..@..@.... MON treats the summer transfer window like a school holiday, he loves his 6 weeks off.
wiggyrichard
He doesnt play regularly at Milan, not even remotely close to the French national team. Im pretty sure none of the big 4 clubs would be interested. Why not?

Im pretty sure none of the big 4 clubs would be interested. Why not? Ideal Petrov replacement in the short/long term. Arse have never quite replaced him and lost alot of steel out of their midfield. However to guy does have a history of leaving clubs on bad terms?
carew_villa
Flamini is not that young, he's 26, but he'd still be a great signing.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Aye, he would be good. Arsenal haven't been the same since he left. Doubt it though.
barry'sboots
Flamini would be fantastic - and for £5m if the story is to be believed. He is obviously too young to get into Milan's first XI. Perhaps he could also smuggle KVH in when he comes across? This would be a great buy.
DANVANDAL
The main beef Flamini seems to have at Milan is being played out of position, he'll love it at Villa then ;-)
PompeyVillan
No chance guys. He's plenty good enough for a CL team.

I think KJH must have been kidnapped by human trafficers and is now called Janet and is working in a massage parlour in Salford because no has seen him since he landed in Manchester yesterday???
