The slightly concerning thing about that is don't you think if the club planned to rid us of this useless clot they would have made a definite plan to meet. Just emailing and faulkner responding that he is available Monday and all week does not sound to me like the club making plans to get shot McLeish is going nowhere what makes you think that? he will clear out the old guard and build his own team in the summer. he will then be given a chance with his own team. You could be talking about any one of Petrovs games for Villa in the past 2 years. Think Delph will really grow into a great player given a run in the team. I don't think he's ever played two games in a row for Villa yet, so I'll judge him after a run of 10 games, but I think he could be our best player this season.

BBC say the £12 million Walcott deal was 'blown out of the water' by the Oxlade-Chamberlain deal and is easily the highest transfer fee ever received for a Championship club. Sounds like the deal was closer to £20 million than £12 million.
