Neuer and Ribery said Bayern were the better team and didnt deserve to lose and were the better team. How is that possible when the score was 5-2. Can anyone who watched the game explain that.

Also it is strange how Munich have been so good in Europe, but disappointing domestically. Again can anyone with knowledge of German football explain that?

They started off well and equalised after going down early, but once Dortmund scored their second Lewandowski ran the show.

Provisional Germany squad for Euro 2012:

Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Tim Wiese (Werder Bremen), Ron Robert Zieler (Hannover), Marc-André ter Stegen (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

Holger Badstuber, Jérôme Boateng, Philipp Lahm (all Bayern Munich), Benedikt Höwedes (Schalke), Mats Hummels, Marcel Schmelzer (both Borussia Dortmund), Per Mertesacker (Arsenal)

Sven Bender, Mario Götze, Ilkay Gündoğan (all Borussia Dortmund), Lars Bender, Andre Schürrle (both Bayer Leverkusen), Julian Draxler (Schalke), Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller, Bastian Schweinsteiger (all Bayern Munich), Sami Khedira, Mesut Özil (both Real Madrid), Marco Reus (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

Lukas Podolski (Cologne), Cacau (Stuttgart), Mario Gomez (Bayern Munich), Miroslav Klose (Lazio)

This 27 will be cut to 23 by the end of the month. I think Draxler and ter Stegen are just training with the squad for now - they and two others will not travel to the tournament.

Only 5 Dortmund players.

I always thought Grosskeuts was worth a call up, I think he's over looked cause he's more about industry rather than finesse.

Pretty much couldn't have called anymore Dortmund players up though. Think Jogy's problem is how many of those shaky Bayern defenders does he include in his starting line up.

Bloody awesome win against Bayern - first domestic double for BVB! :hooray:

I wish that Kagawa and Lewandowski would stay, but either way it's been a fantastic season and now is the time to celebrate.

Have you heard any links between Mandžukić and Dortmund, VGM, or is that just your view? Either way, he will always be known as 'ManZooBitch' to me.

Anyone watching this? Düsseldorf are winning the playoff with a few mins to go. The crowd are going nuts, pitch invading, fighting police. The players have now been taken down the tunnel, they've managed to finally get the fans off the pitch but there's still a few mins left to play. Düsseldorf could really shoot themselves in the foot here if the game is abandoned.

Anyone watching Dusseldorf-Berlin?!

Great game but with one minute left to go in injury time, Dusseldorf fans storm the pitch and the game has been suspended.

I love the Bundesliga but having this relegation play off is a stupid idea....too much tension.
