limpid Posted October 3, 2014 Administrator Share Posted October 3, 2014 Does Pocket Casts support syncing between multiple devices?
The_Rev
Yes. I've used it to sync between devices, the website claims it syncs progress in partially listened podcasts too. Edited October 3, 2014 by The_Rev
mykeyb
The Nexus 6 will be 32 bit but the Nexus 9 will be 64bit. Next year when Android M is released and is native 64 bit the 6 will not get the full optimized version but the 9 and the next Nexus phone which will almost certainly have a 64 bit processor will get all the goodness of 64bit OS. This is the reason I am skipping the 6.
limpid Posted October 7, 2014 Administrator Share Posted October 7, 2014 Where have you seen an announcement about "Android M"?
The_Rev
32 or 64 bit makes absolutely no difference until you hit 4gb of RAM.
villarule123 Posted October 7, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted October 7, 2014 The Nexus 6 better have a better battery, or a remove-able one.
leviramsey Posted October 8, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted October 8, 2014 32 or 64 bit makes absolutely no difference until you hit 4gb of RAM. 64 bit is actually worse until you hit 4gb (well, the barrier might be 2gb, but...). Eight byte pointers, man.
mykeyb
Where have you seen an announcement about "Android M"? The same place I heard about the October 15th announcement of the Nexus 6 from Motorola and Nexus 9 from HTC.

The_Rev
Why would Google make M a 64 bit operating system? They will do what Apple have been doing, get 64 bit processors in handsets until they reach a critical mass and then go for it. It's 3-5 years away minimum.
Biskitt
Apologies if this has been posted before but couldn't see any mention of it. Apparently you can Play PS4 games on your Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact or Z3 Tablet Compact . I know you can do a similar thing on a Vita but this is actually using the PS4 controller and a mount instead. I don't even own a PS4 yet but very tempted to pick up one of the Z3 tablets to go with it so I can happily play on it whilst the missus is watching her shite on TV. I'm sure I'm not the only person who might benefit from this! Edited October 8, 2014 by Biskitt
Genie
Not sure the Nexus 6 is for me if the 'leaks' are to be believed. 5.9" too big for a phone. I'll keep my eye out for a 32gb N5 deal.
PompeyVillan
Nexus 9 rumours say It'll be a 9inch spec beast with a snap on keyboard cover. Also rumours to be 64 bit chip and 4gb ram.

The_Rev
The Nexus 6 is going to be huge if that picture is genuine. Look at the placement of the power button and volume rocker.
