Arrived back in the UK then the person who found it, emailed me saying they had found my phone and could send it to me, got my relatives to pick it up and they gave the guy 25 euros, certainly restored a bit of faith in humanity. There are nice people out there :-) He could have easily just took the sim out, wiped the phone and sold it.. villa4europe Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 I lost my phone after sitting down on a sofa in the middle of Cesar's Palace shopping bit, I went to take a picture about 5 minutes later and that's when I noticed, went back and it had gone, had the brainwave that the place was caked in CCTV, went to the info booth, asked them if they could see what happened to it, the guard stuttered about and that he'd seen it fall out my pocket and gone and picked it up and stashed it in a locker so that it was safe he then took me on a good 10 minute walk across the shopping centre and casino to a security box which he opened and then pulled my phone out, the walk to the security box was longer than the time between me dropping it and realising what id done, even if I had my timing wrong there was no way in hell he made it there and back before it that time period, the whole thing was dodgy as **** Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If the real owner spots it, fair play he can have it back - I merely found it in a tip and salvaged it. Yeah you're best waiting.
