**** it. Got a call from my friends who are going to a pub for pints. Sitting in the beer garden in the sun. I could bring my Cuban cigars. Lovely pints. It basically sounds like the most fun in the world, but I'm studying.

And I'm not even studying. ****! If I hadn't stayed in bed having bizarro dreams all morning, I might have a bit done. **** it anyways. I do really want to go. I don't really want to study. I really have to study. There'll be loads of beer gardens after the exam is over Bernard and it'll be even warmer then. Fine. They're having RAG week in Galway. Everyone I know there is probably drunk already. Dublin friends never go drinking in the day time. And when my exam is over, their exams will start so I'll be trying to get them to go for pints in the sun, but they'll be studying. I know what I should do. I know what I want to do. Studying it is. My friends are boring anyway.

Sounds exactly like me 2 hours ago. Suffice to say I regret not going for a few jars.

In retrospect, I did the right thing. They kept drinking and went out. That would have meant. I'd have 4 pints plus 6 cans and then a couple more pints. Drinking to excess so I'd have an excuse not to study tomorrow. Instead I had a eureka moment in the study and did a gym session. A much better use of my time..

However, they did call me a homo

Never really got the British obsession with getting drunk, I love a drink as much as the next guy but there's absolutely no need to do it until it hurts your health and makes you look like a tit in public.

Not that I'm British, but I drink because it's social. A few cans playing cards, or xbox or just sitting around watching The Simpsons. Drinking games are fun. Pints outside during sunny weather. All these things are more fun when cans are involved. I used to drink for bad reasons. Like I didn't know what else to do, or to fast forward a poor night out. In first year in college, I used to drink so much I couldn't talk every night I went out just because it was like a kind of awful ritual where you drank til you puked and then stood around until the lights came on. No fun in that, but I must have spent an insane amount of money.

I gave up drink for 18 months. Took up gambling and the gym. Spent more gambling than I would have done drinking, but at least it was better for me. I'm back drinking now since January 2008 and although the bad nights probably outnumber the good nights, the good nights probably make up for it.

And getting drunk is just a by-product of all this

Which pornstars has he done? Kacey Jordan, Bree Olsen? ..

reckon I'm going miss my own game next tuesday to watch Barca, Arsenal. I played on the night Barca beat 4-1 Arsenal and I remember training when Chelsea beat Barca 4-2 ...I always miss amazing games, not doing it again....probably end 0-0... :|

when you move to another continent you start to notice that drinking in these situations beyond a beer or 2 is not widely regarded as being social at all, moreso anti-social

i'd comfortably horse through 24 cans a week back in ireland, and that's not including going out, yet over here i doubt ive drank that in 18 months and i cant say i miss it at all.

its very hard not to drink when youre surrounded by drinking though. always just considered it the norm til i moved here, but when youre on the outside looking in theres **** all normal about the amount of booze brits and paddys drink

The pub I go to over here love me to bits because I'll make my way through 11-12 beers whilst watching the football. They then top thıs up with free drink because I've spent the money of a table of 5 Turks. Things got a bit silly one night when we broke the electricity transformer in the tram stop by falling on it. The Police were not happy until the owner of the pub slipped him 100tl.

Not the case in Korea at all. They are very big drinkers.

Every meal is accompanied by a bottle of soju which is a disgusting rice spirit full of chemicals. Gets you absolutely smashed.

I have read numerous articles on the drinking problems and the forced drinking that many employees have to endure on work nights out and team building activities.

It's not uncommon to walk down a Korean street in the morning and see business still in their suits asleep on benches or even the floor.

The only difference here though is drink doesn't fuel violence. I think I have only ever seen one semi aggressive altercation since of been here.

I cant decide whether Charlie Sheen is a cock or a legend?

Im swaying towards a true legend! Very few people can consume that amount of drugs and live! Also, convince their ex-wife that its cool to have a foursome with a porn star and your new girlfriend!

*Remember kids...drugs are bad.
