@XannSo that just the bass player from Talk Talk, no hint of Ms Gibbons?

Decent gig all the same

I'm assuming not too.

It's only one date in the UK, so perhaps a greater chance than absolute zero?

Napalm Death at Bham Institute tonight.

I've seen them dozens of times down the years* and they always put on a good (and loud) show.

*The first time I saw them was in 1989 on the Grindcrusher Tour - Blimey, I'm getting old 😁

I will be there too! Always great to watch!

 Enjoy the gig?

I wasn't too fussed by the support bands (especially Eyehategod who I've never got on with) But Napalm Death were up to their usual high standard. Barney is such an infectious presence on stage and the whole band are tighter than a gnats chuff.

Brilliantly brutal bunch of bastards.

Managed to say a quick hello to Dave from Anaal Nathrakh too. Which was nice.

Never listened to EyeHateGod before for various reasons but enjoyed them last night. And yeah, Napalm were their usual great self. Can't wait for new album.

Nice that Dave was there too, though I am not surprised Napalm would be up his street!

Yeah the last time we saw Nathrakh the ND boys were all there, so I think it's a bit of a mutual admiration thing.

My buddy Seb and his Viagra Boys will be opening for Rage Against The Machine in Quebec at the Festival d’Été this summer.

Obviously won't be there but still this is bloody massive :D

They'll also be playing at Coachella.

Went to see Beartooth this week, pretty much only because Amity Affliction were supporting, I'd never listened much to Beartooth before but left a fan. My first gig at Rock City since they changed the floor as well!

I'm disappointed. Mogwai have just gone up a notch and decided they can play the 5,000 capacity Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and charge £70 for a ticket

Not for me that, I'd love to see them again but not at that price. Great live but at that price. GTF

Supergrass at Ally Palace yesterday were rather impressive , sounds daft but they were much better musicians than I thought they would be , sounded great and lots of improv guitar solos in the songs with quite a strong catalogue of songs  ... good use of Go-pro’s meant you got some really good visuals of the band on some side screens as well

supported by The Coral who seemed to veer from a country and western sound to full on Led Zeppelin ... I’d go see them again in their own right I think
