Sure do. They need to keep their heads now. They can get a draw if they don’t lose their discipline.

They've just spent the whole of added time fouling unfortunately

about time a player walked off having received racist abuse.

However, knowing the Italian federation he’ll probably end up getting banned instead of them tackling the constant racist abuse from the terraces.

hats off Maignan - no one should get that kind of stick hands down, let alone for just playing football.

So, it seems that the wall was originally lined up ok to where the ball was first placed.

cheating or being smart?

if that was one of our players I’d say smart…….but!!!!!

Two point deduction, fines for the club and Toney ... not a problem.

Christ, goals from Toney, Mee and Maupay. Have three bigger words removed ever scored for one side in one game?

Fernandez, Antony and Greenwood?

Wait... Antony doesn't score.

It's smart, in 100 years of football before the white lines no one would give a shit, even since the white lines the wall continues to creep forward and no one gives a shit, we've heard from our set piece specialist that in training he changed what we do because the wall is never 10 yards but no one gives a shit

Loads of free kicks are taken in a different place from the foul and no one gives a shit

The only dodgy thing about it is that he bothered with the white line whereas most don't

If a Villa player did it not a single **** would be given

People are being overly precious over it

And forest are piss poor there

That's maybe all true but it still shouldn't have stood. We have had goals disallowed for far less in recent time.

Goal disallowed for moving the ball on a free kick?

Genuine question... Has that ever happened before? I can't think of a free kick goal ruled out and retaken because the ball wasn't in the right position

Just a gamesmanship thing that happens all the time, this is just the perfect storm of him actually scoring, it being toney and his first game back

I think forests wall should see it and cover it, it's terrible from them

I think moving the ball once it has been placed down, and the wall set is not ok. There’s always a little bit of flexibility over where the ball is placed, but once placed the move should have been punished.

The fact Toney moved the foam to the side of the new position is an attempt to cover up the cheat.

VAR should have pulled it back to be re-taken.

Some interesting posts 😊The 3 points was the main target although an exciting game the quality of football on display was like being back in the Championship. Both teams missing some key players so not unexpected and could have gone either way in truth. Will be interesting when we meet in April as we should have the likes  Mbeumo Hickey Norguaard Schade Wissa available. Its quite laughable Forrest fans crying about cheating.

Huge win for you and should give you some confidence going forward. Second season was always going to be difficult for you.

Don't worry I'm sure you will be much more likeable when Maupay and Toney inevitably leave although I guess Mee will be around a while.

Well, not really. Since he did cheat.

Whether its enough to disallow it or not is another matter but his actions were clearly not genuine and this is from a man just back from an 8 match ban for gambling.

The man IS a cheat.

Laughable? Sorry I don't agree.

Happened towards the end of the Coventry v Sheff Wed. Some racist clearing in the woods made monkey gestures at Kasey Palmer. I hope when it happens again here, players follow Maignan and walk off.

It's cheating, but it's on the ref more to notice these things.
