Horrendous “source”… but “football insider” (yeah I know) are stating that we are getting £12m per year from the Adidas deal and an additional £5m if we get Champions League…

🤷‍♂️

Much better than what we had (£4m total with Castore they say)  but… I would expect more from the Adidas deal tbh…

If true - it is a step in the right direction.

That's probably about right and not that bad a deal for us

Obviously not the £60m odd they pay utd but that's an indication of what we're up against

Sure and we couldn’t really be disappointed… I’d just hoped for something closer to what Newcastle got… (30-40m depending on sources)

Could it increase during the duration of the deal or would a complete new one have to be negotiated?

We’ll just have to see… again, it’s a terrible source and I don’t see why they’d have the “scoop” before others

maybe it’s a good baseline 😆

Sure, not terrible but… I was hoping for at least £20m base…

dunno how much influence Nassef has on this…

waiting for some proper information

difficult to ever believe that site

I think the guy who wrote that is probably guessing based on other sponsorship deals. And due to ffp - don't we have to have "fair market value" based on Nassef's financial association to Adidas? Maybe a huge financial leap straight away would breach FFP?

Still sussing out tools on app and it’s difficult working on phone or small screen,  but this is the best I can manage for blue sleeves (with this image). Mainly to get an idea of how the badge would look on the shirt…

Think it looks better without the blue sleeves and a similar design to the Luke shirt might be a good change up or alternative…

I’ve read that the trefoil is returning next season and there has been a clamour for it…

My fear is that Adidas will want their typical (highlighted rather than subtle) stripes on the shoulders but I hope they’d lay off that or use one of their alternative designs (they have changed placement and style of stripes for different shirts and clubs).

A more classic design or callback might be in store, for the 150th anniversary… an additional or third shirt design …

I dont think there's any chance of them doing claret stripes on claret shoulders. Just taking the badge component, it looks better the darker the blue is, so hopefully what they make (or get given to put on the shirts) means the lion doesn't look washed out.

I saw this on twitter earlier. Supposed leaks for Elite club Trefoil jackets (does have a Roma one too) Not so sure of the Juve one but a Claret and Blue one would potentially look good.

Seem to be going retro but with a modern twist. They're nice. I'd wear one or two of those. Obviously there's a couple that would make great door mats.

I like the solid claret with bits of blue. Something a little different. Nice job on the photoshopping! Kinda looks like like this years badge was ripped off and the potential new one put on in it's place 😄

I’m not sure if this is a good place to share/ask but I’m at a loss what to do as next step. I purchased online a Villa shirt for my son in October. The shirt never arrived, so I wrote to customer.services@shop.avfc.co.uk and some guy called Adrian replied saying it had got lost in the post, and would I like them to send another one or get a refund. I replied a refund. Since then no refund came and also no reply to any emails I send. Over 3 months I have emailed 4 times, with increasing frustration. But nothing is replied to. Any thoughts what I should do next? Or does anyone have a contact higher up at the club store?

That's shocking mate. Potentially not the right person for commercial matters but the Club's supporter liaison Lee Preece is a great guy and might be able to help.

Could Gymshark become one of our partners or sleeve sponsor I wonder ❓Billionaire Villa fan and all …

I was thinking that, but I guess a shirt manufacturer wouldn't be too keen on having a competitor from another market with their logo on the shirt manufacturers product.

How did you pay for it?  Consumer rights exist. Contact your credit card company or bank and tell them the circumstances and ask them to refund you. You had a contract for villa to deliver a shirt. They didn’t. The contract was breached. You are entitled to all your money back and the credit card company is obliged to refund you when the retailer fails to do so.
