Where has this "second striker" phrase come from? Never heard it before Emery came in. It is basically a rebrand of centre forward (the deeper lying striker, such as Bergkamp, who plays behind the main striker) so what is the point of this new name?

Not a new concept at all, just a re-phrase.... In the good old days they were 'inside forwards' - playing off a centre-forward.  Freedom to play off the centre-forward, roam into wide areas or drop deeper (into what is now called the number ten role).  Gary Shaw (Withe), Brian Little (Gray or Deehan).

Were mad if we agree to a compulsory buy option given his injury and disciplinary record.

Option to buy only imo.

If its based on him playing 10 or even 15 games it's probably fair enough.

There's no suggestion that we're agreeing to a compulsory buy, the £4m loan fee that Cimbom will receive will be one of the biggest sums they've received for a player in recent times.

That's what they're getting out of it, a big loan fee, and his wages paid for for a season.

With potential for the deal if we make it permanent to be the biggest sale in their history, according to transfermarkt their record departue as it stands is Badou Ndiaye to Stoke for sixteen million, so could almost double that.

Worryingly, he follows rashica on the gram.

Hopefully tomorrow we get him signed up and in the shirt.

Will just be because Rashica was a teammate at Gala
