I can't see any reason to use the dumbed-down version. Maybe a slightly simpler version for use on the web, smaller screens, etc. But the undefined block yellow thing makes no sense. So much good work has been done and continues to be done by the club but this really has been a complete mess. I don’t like the new badge at all. Not universally loved of course, no badge ever will be, but more legitimate than the one being picked going forward. We went from bad, to good, to awful. AVFC, Aston Villa, some illegible text squished under the lion. **** me! Edit, I really find it astonishing how it isn't universally accepted that the handling of this since May 2023 is under par. Not happy about the (proposed) new badge, but the current one on the kits is incredibly bland. While the Lerner badge is unpopular and could no doubt be improved, at least people associate it with Aston Villa. I was happy when they announced they're not keeping the new round badge and were going for something more in line with the identity we've had in the past 15 years. Corpay's link not working is clearly our issue, I wonder if Corpay know and how much they'd expect to be compensated for the incompetence we have demonstrated by not linking to their homepage properly from ours.
