Youri Tielemans

I actually thought he played well first half. Did his job defensively and was good option on counter but ignored a couple of times.

Bad for the killer second though (from not a great Konsa pass).

Wouldn't have started today if Kamara had been around.

10 passes in an hour of football and at fault for the 2nd goal.

Yep.... Dialling it in for the majority of his time with us. Very little desire or leadership from what you'd describe as a senior pro.

Just came here to pick up a cheque.

He didn't lose the ball. He didn't have it under control and it was played to the side of him, not to him.

He doesn't have the legs to play twice in a week.

Worrying times given our lack of midfield options thanks to McGinn's suspension and fixture schedule.

He’s probably going to need to play centrally against West Ham. That worries me but not sure what else we can do.

Soucek is going to eat him alive.

He had many poor performances since joining. Has been a poor signing for his wages

Whilst it wasn't a great ball from Konsa, if that had been Luiz then I don't think we'd be talking about having conceded from the incident. Tielemans is static whenever he receives the ball rather than playing on the half turn. Not pinning it entirely on him but he certainly could've done better.

Hard to believe he was a box to box midfielder in his early seasons at Leicester.

He was really good for us in December so that injury that kept him out for a month seemed to stall his season.

Ultimately he's a luxury midfielder. Can hit a lovely defence splitting pass like he did for Ollie's second at Fulham but in an end to end high intensity prem match where we don't have much control he's always going to be a liability.

Will probably be one we flog to Saudi in summer 2025.

Our midfield today was unbalanced without Ramsey.  No runners in there. Mcginn tries his best but too deep. Luiz and Tielemans quite similar type players. Think Luiz would be better.where Tielemans played.
