Arsenal will have atleast a +3 GD going to the final match. Arsenal win today and city must beat spurs. Would also ruin the lap of appreciation afterwards given it's a school night. Agree on all that, would still happen though

I think city will win the game regardless. But let’s say Spurs do take it to them and are 1-0 up. Do you really think the effort from City will be the same if they effectively have a game in hand vs if they absolutely must win the game? It’s about game states. In that situation then the way City play would definitely be different

Counterpoint: Dortmund. Not to mention Villarreal semifinalists under our manager. We're better than both of those teams, or you'd imagine by the start of next season at least we will. If we make it. Not like the Europa League is significantly easier. Not sure if that'll be the case next year, but this year the knockout stages of all 3 competitions were crazy strong.

That changes the dynamics slightly as would then mean Spurs have to beat Man. City. Not sure we have enough about us to achieve that though, would've been a different story six weeks ago when we had more zip about our play and more options in key positions. Honest...I'd be happy with some massive nights down VP, from the 2 teams from pot 1 I'd love it if we got real Madrid or Barca away I'm almost approaching the whole competition from a fan perspective rather than a football perspective Anything that creates a buzz around the fan base and plenty of memories If we don't get out of the group then so be it Not sure why people laughed at Newcastle's draw this year, spend 30 years trying to get in this damn thing of course we should want to play the big teams, Milan psg and Dortmund would have been a dream draw for me personally, 3 relatively easy to travel to away games Vs massive teams 7

jayEm
So a point tomorrow means that a point at Palace secures top four, unless Spurs overturn a GD of 8 against City and Sheffield. And now I’m convincing myself that Spurs could smash and grab a 2-0 against City and then streamroller Sheffield United 6-0….
