What I find truly, truly maddening with this season's kits is we have, kicking about across this entire spectrum of shite, the constituent parts to put together what could have been a terrific kit.

If you take:

  • the home match day warm-up top
  • the proper, fully coloured and embroidered badge from the home kit
  • the one-tone version of the sponsor logo from the away kits

Just **** look at what you'd get...

Totally agree, that’s miles better than anything else that’s been churned out.

Why is it that every year fan mock-up kits look better than what is actually produced?

What do Fanatics actually do?

Can we not just have Luke design the kits again, they were absolute beauts.

Luke didn’t design them, Fanatics did.

It's probably the best kit of the three because it doesn't have the ridiculously bad shoulders of the home and the little neck line thing which spoils the away because of the colour contrast is almost imperceptible here.

Also just look at it - that it was third kit should look like!

This is much better. But isn’t this more of a Fanatics issue not strictly Castore? Perhaps someone more knowledgeable on this issue can correct me.

The entire 95-97 range were possibly the best looking complete set of kits we've ever had... but sweet Zombie Jesus they must have been the most uncomfortable, itchiest shirts I have ever worn.  The collars on the outfield kits felt like someone was scratching at your neckline, the collars on the goalkeeper kits felt like they were throttling you and the nipple chaffing was off the charts.  Reebok must have had Pinhead on staff that year.

And also, **** Sareth Gouthgate the absolute **** breadbin.

Nah they'll never like it! Let's make the shoulders blue and then **** it up in 12 more ways.

No chance. After our demolition of Hibs broadcast live on Chinese TV, the streets of Shanghai are awash with men, women, and children sporting our replica 3rd, pink goalkeeperr kit. I've seen it with my own eyes closed and having some wicked blue-cheese dreams.
