They'll turn around and sell him for 50-60mill in a year. I personally think he would've been good behind Watkins and start games in ECL since Unai doesn't rate Archer sadly... The squad can still include players that don't need to be registered and if we continue to progress, that will be a better investment longer term with regards squad selection. I'd take money for Archer if it's there, in the same sort of deal as for Aaron Ramsey, and bring in a better option for our current needs. If they were at the club for 3 years between the ages of 15 and 21... they're club traines/homegrown. And that let's them make up the last 4 spots available from numbers 22 to 25 in the squad.
