Thug
Gets a total free hit this season, it’s already a write off - not in terms of the points tally - but rather in terms of fragility and uncertainty and Just steady the ship and not get relegated and he gets 12 months of ZERO criticism from me.

No way did we call him out of the blue on Friday morning and start discussions. This will have been going on for a while. He'll have been lined up sometime ago. The Dougie Luiz contract is the giveaway I think
Tom13
Also, from this article: https://www.espn.co.uk/football/villarreal-espvillarreal/story/4651540/arnaut-danjuma-interview-villarreal-star-talks-champions-leagueworking-for-unai-emery-and-facing-liverpool Quote "Emery is special: he's one of the main reasons why I came to Villarreal," Danjuma said. "It's such a privilege to work under him as a coach. He is so open with the players and I am learning so much from him. It is really enjoyable to work with him. He is one of the best. He is different." Edited October 25, 2022 by Tom13

But getting Dougie's contract sorted was vitally important for the health of the 1st team of this football club. He is the best central midfielder we've had in a decade (and alongside Kamara in a well coached side will be a great pairing.)

Maybe this guy can get us into Europe and win it at some point, what a fantastic record he has in the Europa. If you compare what emery’s achieved to what poch has it’s not even close.

TheMightyVillans
Covid helped us out in our 1st season back up and now looks like the world cup will help us out this season to allow for mini preseason. I'm sure a lot more will get done in an emery mini pre season compared to the gerrard mini preseason where we ended up being worse after it.

Popular Post MWARLEY2
Massive experience with over 900 games as a coach. Only 50 years old. That young up and comer Potter is 47 for reference . Serial winner in knock out competitions suggests that he is extremely tactical and is able to out think the opposition managers in one off games. A true training ground manager who loves to take charge of coaching. Always gets his strikers scoring heavily Likes bringing young players through at the same time as rejuvinating older ones. Genuinely improves players when he works with them . Doesnt need a fortune to build a good team. You know what. He will not go toe to toe with supposedly better teams. And he will not park the bus and pray for a miracle He will come up with a tactic to beat them cleverly . But i go back to the cups. We all know that the Prem is sewn up. How do we get into Europe ? Through the cups. And we have just brought in a cup specialist. A truly brilliant appointment has been made. His **** ups are when he fails to get into European football. Thats the levels of this man . 10
