Watching this Frankfurt team now - Oliver Glasner.

Teams are always set up with shape and discipline. They work hard for each other and they're fairly attractive on the eye in regards to the style of play.

Oliver Glasner is that German for Remi Garde?

What mess? Even if the Gerrard project doesn't work out Purslow shouldn't have to resign. Whether people like him or not he has been integral to our growth as a club since he arrived. He's doing a decent job and one managerial f*** up, shouldn't been seen a failure of what he has helped achieved thus far. He brought Smith in and people didn't want him gone after Smith's position went tits up so the idea he should leave if Gerrard doesn't work out is ludicrous. With the merry go round that is the PL you'd have clubs in a right pickle if you sacked the ceo after every managerial flop.

Purslow as part owner will stay unless he has a fallout with the main owners and they decide to buy him out.

He seems to be a very good ceo as long as he concentrates on increasing commercial revenue, brand awareness and so on. Football decisions like finding a manager should mostly be a job for the sporting director, since Purslow is a banker and no football expert.

Of the three replacement manager often mention, Potter, Rodgers and Pochettino.

I think Pochettino would be the one most likely to sign for us. It is said he want to manage in PL again, and it isn’t likely at the moment that a vacancy would would open up in a bigger club than us.

Rodgers position in Leicester seems week, he isn’t supported in the transfer market, possible that a lot of top players will be sold and fans want him gone. If we go for Rodgers I think we would get him.

Potter is the one I don’t think is least like we would be able to get, maybe that’s why he is my preferred choice. He have a safe job, loved by the fans, and not sure if he would jump ship this early in the season and leave Brighton in a complete mess.

Any one of these three would make me think right, so we’re going to act like a proper football club now then.

If we had any chance of Pocc, it was obviously at the start of the summer saying come in and you can spend £150m.

He won't touch us if we're in a relegation battle.

Very very annoying.

It’s got to be Poch.

What an appointment that would be, finally a top class manager.

Our club has so much appeal and excellent resources that put several others to shame, we shouldn’t undervalue that along with the prestige that we carry.

It’s a major opportunity to finally bring in someone of genuine quality and experience to lead this team. But it’s also a great fit and big opportunity for him to build something and make a real mark on the PL again…

Anyway, I’m dreaming… it’s not going to happen is it… if only

Stuck with SG for now and in a decline…

But Poch is the man to turn it all around and bring out the best in these players 😃

People were saying the same thing about Arteta 12 months ago.

In the Arsenal doc, Arteta is described as a 'freak' and 'next level' when it comes to the tactical side of the game. Don't think anyone would be saying the same about Gerrard.

If we cant get poch or rodgers id like us to make a statement and think outaids the box and go for someone like mancini.

Id love it. Be a absolutely exciting appointment

It’d certainly be interesting if we’re ever 2-1 down in the last game of the season, and we’re going for the title, and he’s telling everyone around him to “f-off”. Although, maybe he’s grown out of that now.

But, I must say, I like your thinking.

We've not had a fly on the wall documentary made about us.  And it's quite easy to get someone to make a comment like that if you ask them - not saying that's what happened but it's possible.

The only problem is the observer effect - the observation of an object changes its characteristics.

Safe pair of hands I fear the most. If we are in a relegation battle he always seems to get the job, Relegation specialist. Big Sam coming to a club close to your heart soon

I'd love to see it! Although we have to remember they are all essentially made up for entertainment value. Still, they are great entertainment!
