Netspend of £15 million for Emery must feel like a lot compared to his Villarreal days.

Good point. In his first season at Villarreal his net spend was €9.85m. So £15m is not bad for 3 months.

People are on about Europe but realistically we dont have anywhere near the depth for it at the moment.

It would be great to make it but there's a realistic chance it hurts our short term progress by actually making it.

Neither do Newcastle, they are doing Ok!

So no signings this window. I'm ok with that.

I'm torn between waiting til the summer for the right players and then remembering how thin our subs bench vs Southampton was - and two of those have since left.

Maybe that’s why Emery likes a lot of 29 year old journeymen, he’s still tuned to the Villarreal budget and doesn’t even dare to think about 20m+ players.

You must be ecstatic with having made 2 signings then.

Oh, did we... who did we sign, besides Angel2 who will maybe play in the first team some day? Moreno doesn't count, he's ours already.

You said no signings this window, then have named 2 signings we made this window.
