I’m similarly confident that we have zero chance of 4th. Europa league is a sack of shit. So we can afford to wait. No need to rush anything here. Just buy players we love at reasonable prices if they are available. If not, then we wait. You don’t fight with teams that NEED players in January / you’ll get your face ripped off. Not sure what all the panic is about / we are in the best spot we have been for a long time now. Things are looking up by the day. If we don’t sign anyone, it doesn’t bother me. We can scrape together at least 15 more points with what we have plus kids. I expect way more than that, but reminder this is a long term play. We aren’t about winning now - we are looking to compete over the longer term. There is not infinite budget in the FFP world. Hmm, there’s a possibility that you may have missed the point there… other teams are improving now, we’ve lost squad players. We also haven’t really improved on what we do have. I think it's not a bad idea letting a lot of the squad leave this window if possible. It helps FFP and free's up spaces for Summer. We can recall Hause (like Watford want us to do) if we sold Chambers so no issue. Dendoncker can play CB too, he's played 20 PL games at CB for Wolves.
