useless Posted May 1, 2022 Share Posted May 1, 2022 I don't think Raphina's stock is actually that high at the moment, been way out of form for a while now, and not liked by the Leeds fans. Not sure he'd get a move to a champions league club, if he was to stay in England would probably end up somewhere like Leicester or West Ham, or we, if we wanted he. Also don't think he would cost mega money, maybe would have to break our transfer record, but it probably wouldn't be a fee that we couldn't afford. I actually think Richarlison would be interesting fit for us for one of the wide forward positions. Guy has his critics but he's a nuisance and despite it being a below par season he's still managed 9 league goals and can get a team up the pitch with his pace and workrate on the left so feels like the type of attacker we need to spark us up a bit in final third. Norwich - Max Arrons Watford - Sarr Leeds - Harrison, Raphinha, Phillips Everton - DCL, Anthony Gordon, Richarlison Burnley - McNeil Aarons has 2 years left on his deal, he is still very young we only have Matty Cash. For me it is a no brainer to enquire. Sarr has 2 years left on his deal, he isn't really young anymore as he is now 24. I would have some interest if the price was cheap for him - but it won't be. Harrison has 2 years left on his deal, 25 his output is good but he is an outright wide player. Kalvin Phillips has 2 years left on his deal, 27 in December so won't be a player you can buy get good service from and recoup your money. He is an obvious player to enquire about but not to spend the 50m plus you see in the papers. Raphinha has 2 years left on his deal 26 in December, he apparently has a release clause of 25m which would be a bargain..... no brainer. Personally I think those are the players that are going down but for Burnley and Everton...... McNeil - He is only on the list because we have been linked with him previously, he is an out and out wide player, we don't play with them and his output isn't that great. Anthony Gordon - Similar to McNeil but he has just turned 21, it is his first year in the league and his output has been pretty good for his minutes played. Richarlison - 2 years on his deal, 25 next week, obviously a good player and I would definitely enquire if they went down, the price would probably be too high given previous interest and figures mentioned. DCL - 3 years left just turned 25, he is a good striker and I would definitely enquire if they went down.
