Manchester United have scored the opening goal in 33 Premier League games against Aston Villa, winning 32 and drawing one of those matches. It's the most a team has opened the scoring without losing against a side in the competition's history...

We've also blown a few 2-0 leads v them in last 20 years so either way dosen't matter. Last season we were 1 up and playing well v them and then Luiz gave away a ridiculous penalty and we lost belief.

One thing that is crucial today, the crowd. I think due to history of the fixture there's always more of a despondent/nervous air when things start going against us and that transmits to the players who start making rash decisions.

Second half recently v Leicester the crowd was brilliant and dragged us over the line so we need more of that, Coutinho making his debut at some point will help you'd imagine.

The age profile thing is telling too, if we get a good mix then fair enough but making a u-turn on what has been an awesome youth policy would be nuts.

3-4 of them are on the bench today and experiencing big match feeling at VP. Ramsey has shown if you're good enough and patient you will get plenty of starts. We've just recalled Hayden to give him some matchday experience at least for this month.

Don't see the mass panic just because we've signed a couple of guys who aren't even 30 yet.

Over last 15 years we've been crying out for way more experience in loads of our prem teams.

These are next level signings though and they are what we can get through now, we need to qualify for Europe to be able to lure next level signings in the 24-26 age bracket.
