They have been abysmal for much of the season and probably do deserve to be relegated. They are lucky that some teams have been even worse. useless Posted May 15, 2022 Author Share Posted May 15, 2022 (edited) If on Thursday Burnley beat us and Everton fail to beat Palace, then all it would take on the final day is for them to lose away to Arsenal and for Leeds to beat Brentford and they would be relegated. Either way they have to beat Palace on Thursday otherwise they can still be relegated going into the final day of the season. That said I think Brentford will beat Leeds next weekend which will save Everton, and then what will decide it between Burnly and Leeds, is whether Burnley can get something from us or Newcastle, if they can get just one point from either I think there's a good chance it would keep them up on goal difference.
