Come on. They’re plenty good enough to beat Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth if they are coached right. This is not a squad that will challenge the top six (the expectation in August) but it’s not a squad that should be in the bottom six.

I’ve just been reading on this very thread how these ‘not good enough’ players outplayed Chelsea today :)

People need to stop getting ahead of themselves. We didn't outplay Chelsea. We had a good 45min and after 90mins still lost a game that historically we do well in.

The players are though far better than our league position but bullshit about us outplaying them is just that.

He has to go, but it's hard to put the blame on him for today.

We played well, should have scored at least two first half, and the errors weren't just errors, they were atrocious.

That said, an option such as Traore coming off the bench would have been ideal in that game, or even starting. But Gerrard inexplicably loaned him out.

Would you have subbed Dendoncker on to hold on to a defeat?

No I don't think so, doesn't change my thoughts though. I don't like the bloke either but today was about mistakes. We were setup correctly in the first half, all accounts say we have Chelsea a really tough time but we gifted them a goal and didn't score, again.

The game is up for him .

You've normally had a bit of a line into the inner workings of the club... (Although I could be getting you confused with someone else) Hopefully this is true.

He won’t be sacked this week.

A loss or draw to Fulham and then he is in serious problems.

I feel like this is the line every week now lmao

In recent memory I cannot remember the last time we have won at Craven Cottage.

That is a bogey stadium for us..

Sorry, but do one with these statements, no one knows when he is going, apart from maybe @Eastie  :detect:

Constantly kicking the can down the road. At some point you have to be honest with yourself and pull the trigger. Purslow want shy of doing it to Deano, who absolutely had the credit in the bank you mentioned earlier.
