Jono62
Glad he was able to a goal and two assists in this game. Seemed to be playing in the position he did at Southampton today, in that he was slightly withdrawn.

Such an asset for this team and great to see it rewarded with two assists and then his deserved goal for himself,
Popular Post roonst83
He’s always had an assist in him. Remember that crazy assist for Bailey against Everton. Sublime. He’s a very very intelligent player and a lethal finisher. Just needs a run of games and I’m personally very happy, and surprised, how well the partnership with Watkins has looked these past two games.
rodders0223
Absolutely delighted for him. He needed that big time. Did things I've just not seen enough from him. Winning headers getting on the bloody ball and not being so isolated. Works his nuts off
sparrow1988
Very good yesterday but should be fined two weeks wages for not celebrating. While this is clearly a joke, this not celebrating against your old club is a bit ridiculous isn’t it? Edited March 6, 2022 by sparrow1988

He’s allegedly a Southampton fan as well - but the concept of being lucky enough to play for YOUR club, being the main man and then wanting to leave for another team in the same league is alien to me… 4
Popular Post BleedClaretAndBlue
He didnt celebrate, until he looked up slowly to a raucous Holte End, then realised he was indeed, one of us now. It was in this very moment, a smile appeared on his face, as he realised he was now part of a massive club steeped in history and success, instead of a nomark tinpot club that he used to support 5
VillaChris
More interested the Saints fans booed him when subbed. Guess it's how neutrals view us and Grealish but it actually surprised me given he did a good job for them for a few seasons and they made a decent profit on him. Loved the way he effortlessly sided footed the ball into the net, that's him at his best and we haven't seen enough of it. In that situation Ollie would probably take a touch or two to set himself so perhaps that's reflected in their general scoring records. Best game by far this season as a combination anyway so will see if they can build on it at Leeds. Edited March 6, 2022 by VillaChris

However, I feel that Ollie's heart is really not in it there. The smile could be a lot wider, fist should be clenched tighter. He'll have to sort his attitude out soon. 1

Said he wanted CL football but then rocked up at a club they would have seen as on a par or even beneath them in current PL status terms. They must think you should have just stayed with us, the club you support, if you arent going to a side in Europe. At least Jack has gone somewhere to get trophies and CL football and I still wont forgive him even if I do understand the footballing reasons behind the move.
WooJung
With 5 goals and 4 assists he's the player with the highest number of goal contributions, followed by Watkins with 7 goals and 1 assist. Not bad considering the limited amount of game time
The_Steve
Ings got his fifth assist tonight. Such a fantastic football brain that cross for the goal was top class. He works so dam hard too.
Panto_Villan
I've always thought Ings is a really good player. I'm surprised so many people wanted rid of him earlier in the season and it's great to see him being given consistent minutes on the pitch. No surprise that we're scoring plenty with him up top. JPJCB
He's been playing an interesting role the past couple of games. The starting position is alongside watkins up to but he naturally drifts between the lines and sometimes ends up alongside coutinho just behind Watkins. So we end up with Watkins as a clear number 9, Coutinho as a clear number 10, and then Ings as a genuine 9 and a half type player. There's a great balance between the three of them

Delphinho123
Starting to show why we signed him. I’ve been a critic of his but fair play, love to eat humble pie. Long may it continue.
