The fact that match threads are basically just a moan about the refs thread. The over analysis of every single tackle in every single game. It's so insipid. villa4europe Posted March 11 Share Posted March 11 its gone too far, we all know the refs are dreadful and not fit for purpose and that throughout the course of the season we will get at least 5 genuinely bafflingly bad decisions that are outrageous and a contender for the worst ref we've ever seen, that is the benchmark, its **** low... but now every game is dominated by the ref, every decision is scrutinised, every ref is the worst we've ever had when in reality they're usually not even the worst ref we've had that week the defence of konsa and mcginn this week is alarming IMO, almost we can do no wrong and the ref can do no right stuff, its getting close to pearl clutching which to me is to me is part of the problem, PGMOL have to get better but there's a danger that the argument swings away from them and towards the fans, fans need to stop moaning about absolutely everything 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A prem ref makes over £100k a year up that by 50% it'll cost the FA less than a couple of mill. If the league buys the best players from around the world, why not the best officials.
