Please tell me when to stop laughing at SHA

Seeing the photos of the corroded steal that the stands are built on just over 25 years ago.....

The titanic is in better condition after over hundred years at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean

Im by no means a building/structural expert, but that corrosion needs tearing out and rebuilding - no way thats ready for next season, surely?

Not cheap either, and presumably they cant claim general wear and tear / a natural degradation of the materials on any insurance?

I’m not a local and can’t judge on that but I would like to ask,

Do people prefer SHA to be around so we can play them and beat them? Or they prefer them going down and down?

For me I think it’s good to have some derbies. I remember the year that we had SHA, WBA and Wolves.

I haven’t been to a derby game (well my first game ever was against Wolves at VP but the rivalry wasn’t at it’s biggest by then.

We’ll eventually have Wolves and Leicester as our main rivals as we’re all looking like a good contenders of of competing with Top6.

I think if SHA and WBA were around midtable it would help the football in the whole region and would give us more big games to look at.

Yeah I’ll give this a big no thanks. Kind of agree that having games against West Brom add a bit to the season.

The idiots on both sides that games against SHA brings out and the general “nastiness” of games against them adds absolutely nothing to a season. The lower they slide down the divisions, the less likely we have to play them and that suits me just fine.

Probably doesn’t help that we’re generally expected to beat them whenever we play them so you’ve also got a bit of a no win situation.

Personally I don't mind Wolves or WBA, but I'd rather we never crossed paths with SHA ever again. They're a bunch of thugs, it's hardly a game of football and the whole ordeal is just a chore at this point. There's also no rivalry, because rivalries imply competitiveness.

I'm not saying I want them to go under; I just don't care either way.

The derby games are dreadful, for obvious reasons they're policed to death, my last trip to St Andrews started in the pub at 6am, coach to the motorcycle museum for 10am,police escort in, 12 kick off, held after the game for about 90 mins before being allowed home, it's a long horrible day

Also think the games tend to be shit, there's very very rarely a close well played out good quality match between us, at least 1 of us has been **** terrible, often both (us and baggies went through a spell of good games for example)

As for the fans... Got no real problem with them, don't know too many of them and the ones that I do mainly know that footballs a load of bollocks now and none of us are doing anything because the sky 6 have killed it, I've got far more issues with local reds than bluenoses

So in all honesty I don't really care... Don't want them promoted because I don't want the game against them or any kind of success for them (or us relegated obviously) but I don't mind them being 17th in the championship for all eternity, going nowhere, doing nothing, bored shitless, no hope

I think I’d prefer them to drop at least another division rather than go to the wall now. I’m not saying never, but I do think watching a slow death would be infinitely more satisfying.

FYI the Mrs and her family are all noses so I’d be quite happy to never play them again although I do wish I could relive the Hutton goal again. Bouncing round their living room screaming “Cafuuuuu” while she and her brother sat with a face like thunder. It’s the little things 👌👌

Any pics for my avatar 🤞🤞🤞

Get rid. Completely.

Was going to suggest their ground be demolished and turned into an Aldi or something...but it would be incredible if it was flattened and then Villa build an academy stadium or something there to rub it in.
