Unless you thought we need no less than 9 points, there's no way you could think it's over.

We need to beat arsenal, be an extraordinary set of circumstances to stay up otherwise.

El Ghazi taps home an easy chance its game over

Yup,

obviously a lot went on before this game to get us where we are now. But 3 minutes would have seen us safe imo.

Id back us to beat West Ham with that momentum of back to back wins.

this killed what little confidence we had.

Had we played all season like we did today we'd be safe.

Instead we bungled the first half of the season and second half the wheels completely fell off.

Was between New Years and lockdown that **** us. Winnable games that at worse we could have drawn. I think rest of the season we were ok without being anything special

Indeed. We've been dreadful since Christmas. Palace was arguably the best League performance since then and that was against a team on their jollys.

We played genuinely well today but then as ever couldn't handle increased pressure from the opposition and boom, same story.

But that run after Christmas. Unforgivable. Just utter shit.

January we got some decent results, beat Burnley away and Watford when they were on a good run of form, also got a point away to Brighton, and knocked Leicester out of the cup over two legs. Think we got those results playing with five at the back, it was a system that everyone has been calling for and seemed to be working, but a couple of bad results and it was abandoned.

I think we need these factors:

-West Ham to win against Watford.
-Man City qualify in the cup
-Man City to have a day against Watford
-Southampton to be up for it against Bournemouth

If those happened, it could very much go to the last day, win at West Ham and have a good chance of staying up.

Chances are that at least one of those won't happen and that's us done
