They will never do that but i think they should make it mandatory. 68,000 new cases today over 1300 deaths and nearly 4000 people admitted to hospital. These are all record numbers and everybody needs to be responsible. I was sceptical about the vaccines but you got to do the right thing to protect yourself and others. Genie
These numbers are incredible Quote A further 1,325 people have died in the UK within 28 days of a positive Covid test - the biggest figure reported on any day since the pandemic began. It means there have been just short of 80,000 deaths by that measure - as another 68,053 new cases were recorded. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55594107

jimmygreaves
They kept London open, in Tier 2 status, even when the R rate was high to keep the money flowing.... and look what they've done. Shameful. Edited January 8, 2021 by jimmygreaves

They should but in the history of British Politics never have a govt had to deal with so much adversity.
Jonesy7211
These daily numbers are only going to get worse over the next few weeks until the effects of lockdown kick in. There really has never been a western government that has so abandoned its duty to protect the people. We've had hundreds more die in one day than Australia has during the entire pandemic. Xann
Beds in private hospitals being utilised now. Community nurses have been asked to volunteer to be shown how to use medical equipment that would usually only be used in hospitals. This is so that even more patients can be discharged home. What a shit show.
