VillaChris
Misread that and thought Emerson Hyndman had got a move to Atalanta! Would've been incredible move for guy who played twice for Bournemouth since 2016 but off to MLS he goes instead....
GarethRDR
Jules Koundé to Sevilla for a reported €25m. Thiago Mendes to Lyon from Lille for the same amount, presumably as Ndombélé's replacement.

Works out at 20 grand per minute of football he has ever played for Benfica, Benfica B & Benfica U19
villa4europe
agree, I think he needs another 2/3 years of football before making that big a move said when wolves fans were joking about uncle Jorge doing them another favour it wouldn't actually be a bad move for him
kurtsimonw
Right now he's obviously not worth it, but value really only can be judged at the end of something. If he plays a decade with them, helps them win trophies, and retires in an age where every average player is going £80m, then he'll be great value. Its not really the case anymore, even if a top player signs a new deal every 3/4 years they will also demand a big signing fee akin to a transfer fee. Really that £80m only covers the initial contract.
sne
Honestly think that Joao Felix might be the next big thing. Obviously he won't be Ronaldo good, but I think he will be a real player. Barring injuries of course. He's looked class every time I've seen him. Issue is will he be able to play Simeone football? Not sure but since they paid that much for him they must be sure he can.
