chrisp65
I don't think we've got a thread for the Liberals, or the Liberals that are hoping there will be a new sort of Liberal Party with a bunch of peeps from the middle bits of the other parties. So I started one. Anyway, let's all enjoy Vince's erotic spasm.

chrisp65
It must feel like a long time ago when 'everyone agrees with Nick' happened. They have truly taken a kicking for that marriage of convenience. For some reason, their back track on tuition fees has really stuck, whereas the usual two parties can quite happily reverse any number of policies once they are in charge. Funny old game. I think I've only ever known one 'out' Liberal and he was pretty much my nemesis for a few years.

Naivety of their target voter at the time, really. Their number of MPs was largely down to a very young demographic, voting for the first time, with a rather idealised notion of politics. I was very, very close to voting Liberal for the first time ever in that GE. I didn't in the end, and was glad I hadn't when they got into bed with Cameron. sharkyvilla
Tbh I think I'd probably qualify as a liberal, as I'm quite conservative when it comes to financial matters but socially liberal, pro-remain but not a massive fan of the EU either. Perhaps eternal fence-sitter would be more apt.
