Just play 4 at the back, then you can play Mercado and Tagliafico in their favoured full back positions and drop Mascherano to CB (position where he was player of the tournament last WC for me.) Then you can also drop the average dross that is Salvio and Acuna and bring on Di Maria, Banega or Dybala to actually facilitate a flowing attack.
