Southampton would be on 36 points with a minus 18 goal difference. They’re playing Man City. Huddersfield (assuming they lose to Chelsea 1-0) would be on 36 points with a minus 30 goal difference. They’re the official goodbye party for Wenger. Swansea would be on 33 points with a minus 27 goal difference. They play Stoke.
rodders0223
If Southampton stay up Mark Hughes' ego will be insane. Even more so. Please don't let this happen.
andym
One of the worst efforts ive seen trying to equalise from Swansea. Injury time, throw in with a chance to get it in the box and you throw it out for a goal kick. Lol.

LakotaDakota
Swansea or possibly more likely Huddersfield will be taking the final place, Unless city stick 10 past southampton tonights result is enough for them
Mark Albrighton Posted May 8, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted May 8, 2018 (edited) Watching it in the pub, sat near a table of Swansea supporters. Late on, one of them was shouting at the telly - “Get on your feet, stop crying!!”. He wasn’t aiming it at a player. His anger was directed at a Swansea supporter who looked about 12 who was being comforted by his mum Edited May 8, 2018 by Shropshire Lad
VillaChris
Quite happy with that (if the worst happens for us). Southampton I think would've bounced back straight away. Huddersfield or Swansea coming down dosen't look quite so threatening.
Demitri_C
Huddesfield I would prefer down tbh as I think Wagner woukd leave if they went down. Adios boggies

Rodders
Swansea deserve to go down. They were so so bad. No urgency and useless up front. Could see Stoke better them

PieFacE Posted May 9, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted May 9, 2018 (edited) Another relegation to Ayew's CV. Isn't that about 3 in 3 years now? Edited May 9, 2018 by PieFacE

Swansea basically relegated.
VillaChris
Amazing spirit shown by Huddersfield all season, think they deserve it. Next season will be tougher but let them enjoy the moment. Would've preferred them to lose though, final day is damp squib now. Swansea looked safe few weeks back but suddenly can't score and 99.9% relegated now.
