I don't see how that makes any difference to the point I'm making about the Fees being complained of misses the point that they include a premium ? I do see how - as a completely separate point - you can argue that having "a proper scouting structure in place that sources cheap effective options" might alleviate big fees..but that is a different point. And one I don't think holds a lot of water, in that it is a truism....I would think everyone (at every Club) agrees with the sentiment........but rarely produces results. He's exciting and knows how to score. To pour scorn because of his price tag is pointless in my opinion. He can't help how much was paid for him and we shouldn't judge him against that. We paid more than he's worth, we were always going to end up paying more. We were in a desperate situation having just cleared half a squad out and needing to get players in quick. Teams know we have money (even if some Villa fans still doubt that), clubs can add a few million on and know we will still pay it. It's not like it's our personal savings. If Tony can afford it, what's the issue. I judge a player on their football and Kodjia looks like he can play football.
